Showcasing the diversity, creativity and vibrancy of our twin isle, Trinidad and Tobago, is at the heart of what we do. We create great memories for our customers through an enchanting, flavourful and unique Caribbean experience with a range of Liqueurs, and a variety of tropical creations.

 

Our raw materials are sourced from local farmers and businesses. Our staff is Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP and US FDA-certified. We utilise standardised formulations to ensure consistency of quality, producing according to international standards and testing to ensure safe consumption. We utilise recyclable packaging to ensure reduced waste.

We support local arts, entertainment and culture; as well as charitable organisations that enrich the lives of our nation’s youths.

The Early Years Heading

 Growing up in a humble abode in the southernmost part of Trinidad, our Founder and C.E.O. Regina King learnt how to create great tasting aromatic beverages from the teachings of her grandmother, Emma King-John and her mother Marva King, aka Miss Marv.

At Christmastime, they created local traditional dishes and beverages – Ponche de Creme, Homemade Wine, Black Cake (Rum Cake), Sweet Bread, Baked Ham and so much more. This brought friends and family together and lovely aromas filled the air. Regina believed this should be shared with the world and so in 2010, the King legacy through King’s Specialty was born. The first beverage was Original Ponche de Creme, drawing upon the family’s recipe. The rest is history…

Our Inspiration Heading

From 2010 to 2017, King’s Specialty took on a spice-filled, flavourful journey. After creating Original Ponche de Creme in 2010, we created Sorrel Liqueur. Both beverages were a hit and customers looked forward to it every Chrtistmas season. Our customers asked us for more…and we listened. Oh the flavours that abounded! In addition to Original Ponche de Creme, we crafted Cherry, Cinnamon and Chocolate flavours of Ponche de Creme. Trinbago boasts a wide variety of delicious fruits and boy did we put them to great use by creating Mango, Banana, Five Finger, Guava and Mint Liqueurs. In 2017, we realised it was time to shift gears.
